1) Abacus
Abacus means a calculating board. It is known as the first calculating machine invented by Tim Cranmer. It  was first developed by China. It is still commonly used by the peoples who are blinds. It is also known as Cranmer's Abacus.

2) Pascal's Adding Machine
In 1642 French scientist and philosopher Blaise Pascal.invented the first practical mechanical            calculator. It was known as adding machine that could Add and Subtract. It is also called Pascaline.

3) Gott fried Leibniz
In 1671, German mathematician and philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz develops an advance    version of pascal's adding machine. It could Add, Subtract as well as Multiply, Divide and workout        Square root.

4) George Boole
George Boole invented a new branch of mathematics called Boolean Algebra. In modern computers binary code and boolean algebra allow computers to make simple decisions by comparing long strings of zeros and ones.

5) Charles Babbage
Charles Babbage is known as the father of the computers because his machines had an input, a memory, a processor and an output. which are the basic components shared by all modern computers.
He developed a machine called Difference Engine. Later he designed a general purpose computing        machine called Analytical Engine.

6) Herman Holloerith
He developed a machine that run on the electricity for the first time. It utilized punched cards and    metal rods to form a circuit. The machine developed by Herman Hollerith is known as Tabulating        Machine.

7) Howard Aiken
In 1936, Howard Aiken convinced Thomas Watson of IBM to invest 1 million dollor in the    development of an electromachanical version of Babages Analytical Engine. The Harvard Mark-1 was completed in 1944 and was 8fit high and 55fit long.
